Dedicated to serving the greater community, Tinta Wita Tipi was built by the Prairie Island Indian Community in Welch, Minnesota and was designed to serve ALL seniors by bringing together aging residents from the surrounding communities. We provide Independent Living and a high level of Assisted Living care. Tinta Wita Tipi weclomes residents in our beautifully designed single-story, 38,000-square-foot building, Located on 18 acres of tribal land near Highways 61 and 316 in the Welch Township less than 10 miles from Prairie Island and the city of Red Wing.
